East Mesa and Weaver Road

This MLS area is on the East Mesa, east of Las Cruces, around Weaver Road. It is one of the few parts of the mesa where land comes with most homes: half of the properties offered here are on an acre or more.

Much of the area was divided into large lots decades ago, and homes have been built on them one at a time ever since, so they range from the 1970s to the present. Most are single-family homes of about 1,800 to 2,000 square feet, some with room for a workshop, a garage or animals where zoning allows. A few manufactured homes are found here as well.

Prices are moderate for the amount of land. Most homes are offered between about $250,000 and $400,000, and the larger homes on acreage reach $500,000 and above.

Homeowner associations are rare. Because this is semi-rural land, water source, septic and road maintenance are worth confirming for each property.

The Organ Mountains rise to the east, and US 70 is the route into town.
