East Holman and NASA
Based on information from the Southern New Mexico Multiple Listing Service as of November 3, 2026.
East Holman and NASA is the MLS’s name for the high desert east of Las Cruces along Holman Road, between the city and the Organ Mountains. NASA in the name refers to the road out to NASA’s White Sands Test Facility, which lies farther east.
Most of what is for sale here is new. The largest development is Inspiration Heights, built in phases, with single-story homes of three or four bedrooms and around 1,600 square feet on lots of about a sixth of an acre. Outside the subdivisions are older homes and a few properties on an acre or more, some with manufactured homes.
Prices are moderate, with most homes between about $280,000 and $350,000. The occasional larger home on acreage reaches $500,000 and above.
The setting is the draw: the Organ Mountains are close and fill the view to the east, and the city lights spread out to the west at night. US 70 runs nearby, toward downtown in one direction and over San Augustin Pass to White Sands in the other.
Outside the subdivisions, water source, septic and road maintenance are worth confirming property by property.
