Loma Heights
Based on information from the Southern New Mexico Multiple Listing Service as of November 4, 2026.
Loma Heights is an established neighborhood on the east side of central Las Cruces. Most of its homes were built in the 1960s and 1970s, on streets laid out on the rise east of the city center. Loma means hill in Spanish.
Subdivisions here include Loma Heights, Loma Heights South, Washington Heights and Sunrise Knolls. Homes are typically three bedrooms and around 1,300 square feet, on lots of about a sixth of an acre, with a few townhomes among them.
Loma Heights is one of the more affordable neighborhoods on this site. Most homes are offered between about $180,000 and $280,000.
Homeowner associations are rare. Because the homes are fifty years old or more, condition varies widely: some have been fully updated and others are close to original, and price follows.
The location is central. Shopping, schools, New Mexico State University and Interstate 25 are all a short drive away.
